We had a wonderful stay at The Silvertree. The ski in/ski out ease has spoiled my children for all future ski trips. The mountain and conditions were great. The ski instructors were fantastic and essentially provided a personal instructor experience with only 2-3 students ever. The food choices were great and the little grocery in the village allowed us to have breakfast or snacks in our room at times also. Transportation to and from the airport was provided and easy also. The pool was heated (and actually heated enough to be warm!) and the hot tub provided an apres-ski delight every single day. We will definitely be back and even try to bring newbies along next time as we are positive they will love the whole experience also.
As a side note, we went dogsledding at Krabloonik and cannot recommend it enough . . the food was good. . but the dogsledding was really the highlight and will be a treasured memory. Hint - play with as many dogs afterwards as you have time for . . it was great!

Our stay could not have been more wonderful! We were there for the Winter X Games & skiing. The location and services available were outstanding with lots to offer and a beautiful view of the slopes right outside our window/door! The room offered plenty of space, was attractive and clean. Extremely convenient to restaurants, shops and plenty of places to just 'chill'! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Mary in the travel center was so helpful in arranging lift tickets & ski rentals! Would definately visit again!

Wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised.
Ease and convenience of ski-in ski-out can not be over emphasized. Shuttle service to and from hotel was easy and quick. Plenty of cute shops and eats in Snowmass. Ski-lift passes are overpriced, but great runs found on Mt.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was great and hot. Only visited the on-site restaurant for breakfast. Food was good, not amazing. Service was hit or miss. To be honest, sometimes the hotel was a little confusing when navigating to find aforementioned pools and spas, but worth it. Two pools and hot tubs were perfect after playing in the snow.
Would stay again at the Silvertree Hotel if in Snowmass.

We stayed here, because it's "The Official Hotel of the Jazz Aspen Snowmass June Festival." For this class of hotel, during low season, it provided adequate value. Beware, however, of extra charges and careless accounting. On checkout we were surprised to see daily valet-parking charges, which we did not authorize. The desk clerk was not authorized to back out the charges and promised to notify accounting, but he didn't; I had to call accounting to reverse those charges. Although Spa charges are posted on the Web site, they were not clearly posted at the Spa; therefore, the Spa charge was a surprise. Although not posted on any reservation site, we were charged an extra $15/night to "guarantee" a king bed (sort of a bait and switch). Typical of an older hotel is a small bathroom with inadequate counter space and a cheap, small faucet that does not extend far enough into the sink. The trim ring around the shower spout was falling off. The bathtub spout was set two inches away from the wall, exposing the pipe.

The hotel was great. Room was huge, especially helpful as we were traveling with a dog. All staff were responsive and friendly, meeting any need we had.

I would very much have liked to have known the extent of the construction in Snowmass Village. Further, it would have helped immensely for my stay to have known that 4 areas of parking were relegated to dirt bikers and not the general public. This did nothing to enhance my stay and made me cranky for the length of time I was in Snowmass Village. Some alternate accommodations should have been made for other guests, or the least the hotel could have done was offer a free meal for the inconvenience or a free one night stay.
